Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 26 August 2026
About these terms
In these terms, “Aurea Health”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Lucid Business Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 92 622 816 906) trading as Aurea Health, of North Epping NSW. By booking or attending a session, class, program, workshop or retreat with us, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information, including your health information.
Safety, risk and your responsibilities
Before you commence any session with Aurea Health — Pilates, Bowen Therapy, Wellbeing Coaching, or a workshop or retreat — please tell us about any injuries or health conditions that might affect your ability to participate. By booking and participating, you acknowledge the following:
I have informed Aurea Health of any injuries or health conditions I may have, and I understand that Aurea Health’s services are not a substitute for medical care or treatment. I understand that physical activities such as Pilates, matwork, guided movement and breathwork require physical exertion, which may be strenuous and carries a risk of physical injury, and that it is my responsibility to consult a physician about my participation.
I understand that, in order to avoid injury, it is my responsibility to practise within the limitations of my own body and to rest or stop participating if I am tired or in pain. When attending online or virtual classes, it is my responsibility to ensure that my practice space and surface are safe, stable and free from dangerous objects and distractions.
Risk warning and limitation of liability
Your safety comes first in everything we do — our sessions are gentle, closely supervised and adapted to your body. Like all physical activity, however, the movement-based services we provide (such as Pilates and guided movement) are recreational services that carry some inherent risk of injury, and you participate at your own risk to the extent of those inherent risks.
To the extent permitted by law, including the recreational services provisions of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW), we exclude liability for injury (including personal injury or death) suffered in connection with recreational services we supply, other than where caused by our reckless conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Initial Consultation for Pilates
An initial consultation is required before commencing Pilates equipment classes. This will help you fully understand the method of instruction and safety measures, and help your instructor assess your body, understand your requirements and make a plan for you.
Terms and Conditions for Packages
- All sessions are by appointment and prior booking only.
- Packages, fees and charges are non-refundable and non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, credit or products.
- All packages must be redeemed before they expire. Any classes not used by the expiry date will be forfeited.
- The expiry date on packs commences from the date of purchase and not the date of the first class: a 5 pack is to be used within 7 weeks, and a 10 pack within 12 weeks.
Cancellation Policy — sessions and classes
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations, or the full session or class fee will be charged.
- In the event of illness or emergency, a make-up class may be attended pending class availability.
- There are no discounts, refunds or make-ups for sessions missed for any other reason.
Retreat Terms and Conditions
Updated on 26 August 2026
These terms apply to bookings for Aurea Health retreats and full-day events, including the Wellbeing Reset Retreat on Saturday 24 October 2026 (9:00am–5:00pm, Annangrove NSW). They apply in addition to our general terms above.
Cancellations and refunds. We understand plans change. If you need to cancel your retreat booking, the following refunds apply, based on when we receive your cancellation (by phone or email):
- More than one month before the retreat (on or before 24 September 2026): 100% refund.
- Between one month and one week before (25 September – 17 October 2026): 50% refund.
- Between one week and 48 hours before (after 17 October, up to 9:00am on 22 October 2026): 25% refund.
- Within 48 hours of the retreat, or non-attendance on the day: no refund, as venue, catering and materials are fully committed by this point.
Refunds are made to the original payment method within 7 business days of the cancellation being confirmed. You may transfer your place to another person at no cost at any time up to 24 hours before the retreat — just let us know their name and contact details. If Aurea Health needs to cancel or reschedule the retreat, you will be offered a full refund or a transfer to the new date — your choice.
Catering, dietary requirements and allergies. All retreat catering is vegetarian, with morning tea, lunch and refreshments provided across the day. Please tell us about any dietary requirements or food allergies when you book (or by phone or email before the day) and we will do our best to accommodate you. While every reasonable care is taken, meals are prepared in kitchens that handle common allergens, so we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free of a particular allergen. If you have a severe food allergy, please contact us before booking so we can discuss whether the catering can safely accommodate you.
Photography and video. Photographs and video will be taken during the retreat. By attending, you agree that images and footage that include you may be used by Aurea Health for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media and marketing materials, without payment or further notice. If you prefer not to appear in photos or video, please tell us when you book or speak to us at registration on the day — we will take reasonable steps to ensure you are not featured.
Health and participation. Retreat activities (including Pilates matwork, breathwork and guided movement) are gentle and adaptable for all levels, and participation in every activity is optional. Please tell us about any injuries or health conditions that might affect your participation, take part within the limits of your own body, and rest whenever you need to. The retreat is a wellbeing day and is not a substitute for medical care or treatment.
